Some of these winners will also perform on the night of the presentation with the Metropole in Music Centre Frits Philips in Eindhoven. An evening not to be missed by lovers of jazz and world music.
Onder de groene linde
Ate Doornbosch, finally, will be awarded for Onder de Groene Linde. This ‘special issue World’ consists of nine CDs with traditional folk music from the Netherlands. This music originates from the archives of the radio program of the same name. In its judgement the jury also included the beautifully executed book which accompanies these field recordings.
