Concerts 23 and 25 January 2010
On Saturday the 23rd of January 2010, the stage is set for a unique concert experience at the famed Oslo Concert Hall (Konserthus). The strings of the Metropole Orchestra from Holland will accompany Silje Nergaard under the direction of Vince Mendoza. After the release of the album A Thousand True Stories, all who were involved in the making of the album will gather for a concert in Silje's hometown.
20th Anniversay
The Metropole Orchestra, together with Silje's band, consisting of Helge Lien on grand piano, Jarle Vespestad on drums, Finn Guttormsen on bass and Håvar Bendiksen on guitar, will take the audience on a unique musical journey through the songs from her latest album, as well as known and loved songs from throughout her career. In 2010, Silje will be celebrating her 20th Anniversary as a recording artist, and the evening will also offer wonderful musical surprises from people Silje has worked with throughout the years.Vince Mendoza

In July 2009 Silje Nergaard and the Metropole Orchestra gave an incredible concert at The North Sea Festival in Holland, the largest Jazz festival in the World. 3000 members of the audience stood packed like sardines in a barrel to experience this amazing concert. Now this success will be repeated at the Oslo Concert Hall the 23rd January and in Amsterdam on January 25th 2010!During the Summer of 2010 Silje Nergaard is expected to sing once again with the Metropole Orchestra in The Netherlands.

Tickets for the Oslo concert on 23 January 2010 at 7.30 pm are available a the Oslo Concert Hall
Tickets for the Amsterdam concert on 25 January 2010 at 8.15 pm are available from December 19 2009 at Paradiso.
Tickets are € 17,50 (excl. membership of Paradiso, € 3,50 minimum for 1 month, and service charges).
Advance ticket sales also at larger post offices and tourist information offices, Free Record Shops and Ticket shops. Addresses of these sales’ points and online ordering.
Beware: there is an increasing black market for concert tickets! Only buy your tickets online or by telephone at Ticket Service or go to any of the pre-sales addresses mentioned. The correct entrance fee can always be found on the website of the appropriate venue.
