A year ago a 'girly giant' mesmerized the audience in Theater Carré in Amsterdam. During the Holland Festival 2009 the singer gave a concert with the Metropole Orchestra for the first time. Several of The Johnsons had joined the orchestra. At first just one concert had been scheduled. This had sold out in no time at all, so the concert has been repeated the following day.

Because of the Holland Festival 2010 the entire concert of 22 June 2009 by Antony Hegarty has been posted online. At the time audiences and press were unanimously enthusiastic. The combination of singer and orchestra proved a grat success; not in the least with the singer himself. The Radio 4 website now provides an extensive online archive with material form previous Holland Festivals.Watch the concert below.
